I cannot believe we are already here and the school year is almost half way completed. Things are about to start moving quickly for the choir so please make sure you are keeping up with the calendar that was sent home earlier this year.
November 30: Choir Winter Social
All students are invited to attend the event. We will be decorating the room, decorating cookies, eating pizza and desserts, watching a holiday movie, playing games, and having a crazy sock exchange. Come have a fun time with your choir friends and start the holiday season. Social is from 6 pm to 8:30 pm in the choir room
December 1: Choir Caroling at Bradley Winter Festival
All choir students are invited to attend and sing. This is not a mandatory event.
We will be meeting at 1:00 and will perform from 1:25-1:40 on the stage at Bradley during their winter festival. More information will be sent home the week after break.
December 4: York JH Winter Concert
7:30 pm concert
December 4: Booster Club meeting
Meeting will be at 5:30 pm before the York Concert. Last meeting of the Fall semester.
December 10: Grand Oaks Choir Winter Concert
Concert begins at 7:00 pm
Information will be coming home after the Thanksgiving break
Uniforms have not come in, so please please understand the alternate dress code
Hopefully everything will come in before the concert!
Boys: Black dress shirt, black dress pants, black socks and dress shoes
Girls: Black dress pants or long skirt, black blouse, black dress shoes
If there is any problem obtaining the items above, please reach out to Mr. Smith. He will work on getting clothing items donated or purchased. Don’t hesitate to e-mail him.
December 17: Caroling Field Trip
Students are invited to attend but this not a mandatory event.
We will eat lunch at school and travel around the area caroling at different venues. Students will need to provide transportation home as this is a HALF DAY of school. The event will take place once school is out for the day. More information in early December.
