Cassidy Joined For Hope is a local organization that is working to spread mental health awareness and suicide prevention to area students. The Hess family lost their daughter Cassidy to suicide a few years ago. She was a cheerleader at College Park HS and through this her parents are trying to prevent this from happening to other families. The CJH Foundation hosts local kickball tournaments to raise money as well as awareness.
A good friend of the Hess family had it on her heart to do something spectacular and thus the Hope For The Holidays show was born. They are in need of local students to sing and dance in a few ensemble numbers during the show. There will be rehearsals to learn the music and choreography. The shows are at 2pm and 6pm on Saturday, December 15 at College Park HS. It will be filled with acting, singing, and dancing; a true holiday variety show.
If your student is interested in participating in Hope For The Holidays and representing our GOHS Choir program, please click the link below and sign up. Also, make sure that you let Mr. Smith know, so he is aware of who is participating. It is going to be a wonderful show and one I think all of our students would love to be a part of.
